Do trains still run past?
They do indeed! Lingwood Station is on the historic Wherry line which is still part of the National Rail network. There is one train an hour in each direction (Norwich - Gt Yarmouth) on week days, and less at weekends. It takes as little as 12 minutes to get to Norwich and Gt Yarmouth from Lingwood which makes us an ideal place to stay for exploring the area.

Are the trains noisey?
No! This is a question most people ask, and as our trip advisor reviews pay testmony to, most people don't even notice them. There are aproximetly two an hour during the the course of the day (they don't run through the night). Being a rural branch line, they are usually formed by one or two car diesel units, with the occational locomotive hauled service.

Do you have parking?
Yes - we have plenty of off-street parking that will accomodate the largest of vehicles.

If wifi available?
Yes - free wifi is available throughout. Please ask us for the password when you arrive.

Are your breakfasts gluten free?
Please tell us at the time of booking if you require a gluten free breakfast and we will provide this.

Is there anywhere close by where we can eat?
We are fortunate to have a pub (The Kings Head) just a two minute walk away. This serves "pub grub" most nights - please ask us for a copy of their menu. There are plenty of other pubs within a five minute drive of us, as well as a fish and chip shop in the village. For something a bit more special, Norwich is just a 12 minute train journey away.
